Galleri Cancer Detection blood test
At River Oaks Galleria (ROG) Medspa, we were inspired by the cancer survival journeys of our loved ones. Because of them, we value early cancer detection. Despite medical advancements that allow us to treat cancer more efficiently now than ever before, we can only treat cancer when we know about it. Early detection is key to early treatment and potential survival.
Multi-cancer early detection (MCED) tests, also known as liquid biopsies, use a blood test to detect various cancer biomarkers. We offer the Galleri Multi-Cancer Detection Test, launched in 2021, and screens for a “fingerprint” of many of the deadliest cancers before they become symptomatic. Please note that the Galleri blood test does not detect a signal for all cancers, and not all cancers can be detected in the blood. Galleri can detect > 50 cancers, but false positive and false negative results do occur. We take a holistic approach to follow up on your results and its implications, recognizing that the Galleri blood test is an excellent resource, available at our fingertips.

Early detection is key to early treatment and potential survival.
Full-body MRIs can detect early signs of cancer if cancer lesions are ≥ 1cm. We partner with Prenuvo, which is a reputable health technology company utilizing AI and proprietary innovation to detect early signs of disease, including cancer. It is a non-invasive test that does not require radiation or contrast dyes, and can be completed in as little as 60 minutes.

No. The test is obtained through a single needle stick to obtain blood in 2 vials. We can provide distraction methods and topical cooling to minimize the pain related to the needle stick.
No, you do not need to be fasting before the Galleri Blood test.
We charge a $249 Cancer Early Detection consultation fee. If deemed appropriate for the Galleri blood test, we can obtain the blood test right then and there within our Medspa for $1,245. The test is FSA/HSA eligible, and we accept many Buy Now, Pay Later payment options (Cherry, Care Credit, Affirm, After Pay, Klarna).
At ROG Medspa, we partner with Prenuvo to offer their Comprehensive Whole Body Scan which includes radiologic review of:
- Solid tumors as early as stage 1
- Whole Spine
- Metabolic disorders like fatty liver or hemachromatosis
- Neurologic disorders such as multiple sclerosis or dementia
- Non-cancerious conditions such as cysts, hematomas, and hemangiomas
- Aneurysms
We charge a $249 Cancer Early Detection consultation fee. If deemed appropriate for a Comprehensive Whole Body MRI Scan, we refer you directly to Prenuvo. The cost of the scan is traditionally $2,499, but because of our partnership with Prenuvo, your cost, as an ROG Medspa client, is only $2,099.
For most people, once a year is ideal. Prenuvo recommends annual whole-body MRI scans for adults over 40 or anyone with average or elevated health risks.
Annually: For most adults over 40 or with higher risk.
Every 6–12 months: If specific findings or risk factors exist.
Every 12–24 months: For younger, low-risk individuals.
Most serious diseases, including cancers, progress slowly, making yearly imaging an ideal schedule for early detection.
