Neuromodulators

Neuromodulators are substances that alter the way nerves communicate with one another. In aesthetics, neuromodulators refer to purified botulinum toxin, type A, which is injected into the skin, resulting in the relaxation of targeted muscles, and ultimately the reduced appearance of rhtytids, or wrinkles. 

Neuromodulators are a great solution to treat, reduce and prevent fine lines and wrinkles on the face and neck. Neuromodulators can also be used to treat excess sweating (Hyperhidrosis), chronic jaw pain (TMJ dysfunction), and even Migraines. There is minimal downtime and results typically last 3-4 months. Most procedures take 15 – 20 minutes.

In the United States, (6) neuromodulators are FDA approved for the temporary improvement of moderate to severe fine lines and wrinkles.
